Texas and ISU TV Schedulers Should be Fired

Texas and Iowa state play tonight at 8 in a matchup up two top-25 teams. What I don't understand is how this game is allowed to be pushed to the Big 12 Network/ESPN +. There's only one other ranked v ranked matchup tonight, Kansas at Kansas State, and that game is put on ESPN Main. How does one game end up on a traditional broadcast network, and the other get pushed to a platform that requires you to go hunting it down in order to watch it? I genuinely don't even know if I'll be able to watch this game if I don't have access to the Big 12 Network.

I'm sure there's some nonsense about games being put on networks long before we got to this point and Iowa State wasn't expected to be ranked this high or something like that. Honestly? Who cares? You can't tell me that it would be impossible to push Tennessee/Miss St. from ESPN2 to ESPNU and bump FSU/Notre Dame seeing as neither team is ranked. College hoops fans want to see the best teams go at it, and limiting access to who can watch them will only push away the more casual viewers. If NFL games can be flexed, so can these.

The execs at ESPN who allowed this to happen should be forced to issue a public apology and then handed their termination notes effective immediately.
