It's Team Totals Season!

College football is around the corner; but you're not here to read me giving some pre-content diatribe to get you prepped for the season. You know it's coming, you needed it to come, we all needed to feel the hope of quality sports content to come. So since we're all on the same page, let's get right into my picks:

Kansas - Over/Under 2.5

Prediction: Over 2.5

Reasoning: This is my absolute favorite of all futures that I'm taking. Kansas was pretty feisty by Jayhawk standards last year. Coach Leipold looks like he has the boys in Lawrence heading in a decent (I'll hold off on calling it good for now) direction where this program can be deemed respectable for the first time in a long time. Add the fact that Jason Bean is running it back at QB this season and I love it even more. Bean is an electric factory and while I don't see him becoming a NFL prospect or anything, but he could be the reason they get that third win they need to hit their season over. Schedule wise, TN Tech and Duke should be auto-wins and I'm going to put my nuts on the table and say that the Jayhawks hit their season over by October 8th by taking down TCU.

Maryland - Over/Under 5.5

Prediction - Over 5.5

Reasoning - This has more to do with the breakdown of Maryland's schedule than anything. Buffalo and Charlotte should be automatic checkmarks for wins, and SMU doesn't look like it at first, but they have a new coaching staff and it's going to take some time to get things rolling for the Pony Express. Going to Michigan early on solves a major problem that the Terps have. They always seem to start a season somewhere around 4, 5 or even 6-0 and then get kicked back inside their shells once they face a real opponent. Facing the Wolverines early on will get that out of the way and help the team stay focused without getting too big for their britches. Pencil in Indiana, Northwestern and Rutgers in as wins and I see UMD back in a bowl game this year.

Duke - Over/Under 3.5

Prediction - Under 3.5

Reasoning - Fuck Duke. That is all.
