Does NFL Redzone Hate Arizona?

I've noticed something strange in the NFL dating back to last year. During the 1PM block of games it's pretty understandable that a game or two may get lost in the hustle and bustle of the day for a multitude of reasons. Maybe the game isn't very entertaining. Maybe it's week 10 and the teams only have 2 wins. Or maybe there are just other games with a ton of fireworks going off. All of that is understandable to me; tough for fans of those teams, but understandable.

What I can't comprehend is when a game is largely ignored during the late block of games. There are usually less games being played, and it shouldn't be an issue to sit in on each game for chunks of time. Yet somehow, there's always a game, and I've noticed it usually involves a particular team, that gets ignored. Which team am I talking about? The Arizona Cardinals.

Think about this. The Cardinals are 4-0 so far this season, have an electric offense, and a defense that has played well above preseason expectations. Just yesterday, the Cards dismantled the LA Rams in LA, and with a majority of the public proclaiming the Rams as the team to beat in the NFC.

The first thing I want to know is why this game started at 4:05 and not 4:25 to begin with. Especially when Green Bay and Pittsburgh took one of those 4:25 slots. Green Bay is good enough for it, but the Steelers are a dumpster fire this season and putting two undefeated teams up against each other in the prime slot just makes more sense to me.

Now, quick disclaimer, I did end up napping for about an hour during these games so if there was an extended period of the game on them I missed it.

Nap aside, I've noticed that every week the team at Redzone just seems to ignore the Cardinals in any way they can. When they flip to their games, if they flip over, it's to show a quick highlight, maybe one play, two if we're lucky, then go somewhere else as fast as possible.

I just don't get it. You've got a premier quarterback in Kyler Murray who is an absolute electric factory whenever he touches the ball. They Cardinals have a lethal wide receiving group and a running game that is way better than I thought it would be. Why would they not want to put this team on the marquee?

We got more of old man Roethlisberger and more of the Ravens dismantling the Brincos than we did of Kyler Murray. Now, that's not a knock on Baltimore, it just wasn't a particularly interesting game because of the spread. Hell, Seattle and San Francisco got more love and they had worse records going into their match-up than their division rivals.

The only conclusion that I can come to is this: NFL Redzone has something personal against the Arizona Cardinals. I don't know what it is, or why it came about, and frankly I don't care. They need to get over themselves and put them up more often so we can all see what's going on in the desert. We as fans deserve it.
