What is Bleacher Report Doing?

Here I am, minding my own business on a random Thursday. It's a day off of work for me, I just come in from a nice long run, sit down at my computer at BAM. Bleacher Report decides they want to do a redraft of the 2019 NBA draft.

The first few picks make sense, they kept Zion, Ja Morant and RJ Barrett in the same spot. Pretty chalky, but if it ain't broke why fix it. At the 4 spot they bumped Matisse Thybulle when he was originally drafted 20th. Not my favorite pick for this spot, but I couldn't find anybody I would replace him with so I'm cool with it. Ok so, 4 picks in, all is good. Then we get to pick number 5.

    Tyler Herro.

Oh man this pick pains me inside. Herro isn't a top five draft pick worthy player, even in the infamous Anthony Bennett draft year. Don't get me wrong, I think Herro can be a fun player in this league, but far from top 5. He had one breakout half-season inside of a bubble where there were no fans. I repeat: THERE WERE NO FANS. All he had to do was worry about playing ball, and nothing else. It was a great season for him, but he hasn't lived up to that sort of billing since.

Herro is a Hollywood player. He's been caught up in the bright lights of South Beach, and his play has fallen off as a result. Not to mention he couldn't guard a chair before, during or after the bubble. The man has been a pretty big liability for the Heat, focusing more of his celebrity than his game. Herro was originally picked 13th, and frankly he should've stayed there in this redraft.

So what I have to say to the people at Blecher Report is this: Just because Jack Harlow names a song after you doesn't mean you deserve to get boosted quite like this because it now looks like Boy Wonder needs to fix his own jumper before he helps Jack out with is.
