I cannot stress enough how awesome this is. I mean, maybe not for buckeye fans, but for the average viewer it is GREAT that we can see upsets like this happen. Who wants to have the same teams be great again and again and again? Dynasties can be fun because our society loves to root against them, but we always need the belief that they can be taken down in order to keep our interest levels high.
Oregon may not be some plucky team that pulled off a David v Goliath type of feat, but the Pac-12 has been dismissed as an underwhelming conference for several years now. The story just changed dramatically with this win, and UCLAs win against LSU last week.
Now the west coast can get the love they desperately want. Meanwhile I'm over here just like...
