NFL Season Preview And Predictions

Your 2021-22 Super Bowl Champions are... the Buffalo Bills! Well, according to my predictions they will be. We all have fun with making bets and putting reputations on the line for the fun of predicting how the NFL season will go, right?

Well, let's take a look at my predictions here. Please note: this post is the overall predictions, I will make individual posts for each division following this.

So my screenshot above may be a little hard to see, I'm still figuring that sort of thing out. However, what I posted is the breakdown of how I feel each team's season will go this year in the NFL. You'll see some surprises, some things that make total sense, and some things that will probably make you want to hit me upside the head with a frying pan. I'll post each team's breakdown below by division (each team represented by abbreviations) and a one or two line summary for the division. Remember, more detail will come later.

NFC East:
Summary: Washington takes the division based on it's defense, Dallas continues to Dallas (inconsistent), Daniel Jones has a perfectly mediocre season and Philadelphia fans may burn their stadium down this year.
WAS - 11-5, 4-2 Div
DAL - 9-8, 5-1 Div
NYG - 8-9, 3-3 Div
PHI - 2-15, 0-6 Div

NFC North:
Summary: Packers take the division by default because every other team is too mediocre to take advantage of the Aaron Rodgers drama this offseason. Why did Detroit hire Dan Campbell and trade for Jared Goff... just why?
GB - 9-8, 5-1 Div
CHI - 6-11, 4-2 Div
MIN - 6-11, 3-3 Div
DET - 1-6, 0-6 Div

NFC South:
New Orleans takes a huge step back because Sean Payton can't make up his mind on QB, Carolina improves but their offensive line still proves to be their downfall, Atlanta has a strong season with their new head coach, Tampa rolls on like they did last year.
TB - 12-5, 4-2 Div
ATL - 10-6, 3-3 Div
NO - 7-10, 3-3 Div
CAR - 6-11, 2-4 Div

NFC West:
Yeah this was a crapshoot for me. I have no clue what's actually going to happen, so uh... good luck to my predictions! This is easily the best division in the NFL
ARI - 12-5, 3-3 Div (I swear I didn't take any drugs)
SF - 12-5, 3-3 Div
LAR - 11-6, 3-3 Div
SEA - 11-6. 3-3 Div

AFC East:
Buffalo finally overcomes its history and wins the Super Bowl, Tua takes a big step forward, New England is in too weird of a transition stage and the Jets just don't have the talent to keep up.
BUF - 14-2, 6-0 Div
MIA - 12-5, 3-3 Div
NE - 8-9, 2-4 Div
NYJ - 4-13. 1-5 Div

AFC North:
Pittsburgh falls off a cliff, Cleveland and Baltimore stay neck and neck all season, and the Bengals take a step forward, but not enough of one to save their coach.
CLE - 14-3, 5-1 Div
BAL - 13-4, 5-1 Div
CIN - 6-11. 1-5 Div
PIT - 4-13. 1-5 Div

AFC South:
Indy takes the division and has a much better record than they should, Tennessee is wildly inconsistent, Jacksonville and Houston are in for rough rides.
IND - 12-5, 5-1 Div
TEN - 8-9, 4-2 Div
JAX - 2-15, 2-4 Div
HOU - 2-15. 1-5 Div

AFC West:
KC Dominates but falls to Buffalo in the AFC Champ game, San Diego looks really good but a rookie head coach shows his inexperience at the wrong time, Vegas and Denver need new coaches.
KC - 15-2, 5-1 Div
LAC - 14-3, 5-1 Div
LV - 5-12, 1-5 Div
DEN - 5-12, 1-5 Div

Fun, right? Alright now let's look at my playoff bracket:

Wild Card:
LAC takes out IND, BUF waxes MIA, ClE outlasts BAL in a shootout in the AFC
WAS takes advantage of LAR's defense only have two star players, SF boat races GB for the 2nd time in 3 years, Seattle beats Arizona based on head coaching matchup in the NFC

Divisional Round:
KC is just too good for LAC, BUF is too well-rounded for CLE and Josh Allen is better than Baker Mayfield in the AFC.
WAS doesn't have a good enough QB to keep up with SF and TB is too well-rounded for SEA in the NFC.

Conference Champ:
BUF finally gets over the KC hump in the AFC
I just won't bet against Tom Brady until he retires, as annoying as that is... in the NFC.

SB:
BUF surprises everyone who forgot how much continuity they have from last season to this year and stun Tampa and keep them from repeating.

Number of tables broken in buffalo: infinite

So tell me, what would you change? Keep the same? Bring it on.
